"I would like to write to you about the excellence of your staff at your practice. Due to a horrible experience at my previous dentist, I have been put off going for over a year and a half. Your practice was recommended to me by a couple of my friends, so I thought I would give it a go.
When I booked the appointment the receptionist seemed very nice and gave me all the information I needed to switch to your surgery.
I went to my appointment on Wednesday 3rd June 2009 and from the second I walked in I felt lovely and relaxed.
I was extremely nervous and as I am having problems with my teeth and gums, this made me even more nervous. I saw a dentist called Mo, he was the nicest dentist I have ever seen, he put me at ease and explained everything he was doing from start to finish. He explained in detail what was wrong with my gums and gave me advice on what I should do -this problem with my gums has been affecting me for years, but my previous dentist didn’t even acknowledge the problem. He recommended that I see a hygienist and managed to fit me in that day.
The hygienist, Angie, made the whole process simple and kept me informed of everything she was doing. She didn’t patronise me in any way, which I have experienced before and treated me like a person and not some ‘dummy’. She was so friendly and helpful, certainly the best hygienist I have seen. Her and Mo are a credit to the practice.
I will certainly be visiting your practice every 6 months now I know there are people there who actually care about your health and not just making money.
I will recommend your practice to people and I hope you can pass on these comments to your staff, I think too many people only receive bad comments, but I would like to personally say I am so grateful for all your staff in making me feel confident and not embarrassed to come to a dentist, I now know so much about my teeth, which I learnt in 20 minutes that I have in 20 years!"
