Dr Mohammed Kaderbhai qualified at Leeds Dental School in 1992 and spent the next 2 years as a junior doctor in various hospitals in Leeds and Sheffield pursuing his special interest in surgical dentistry.
He spent the following 2 years in various practices working as a general dentist in Leicester before he opened Carillon Dental Care in 1996. He has a speciality interest in prosthodontics, his interests are in providing advanced and complex dental care which includes cosmetic dentistry and implants. He has numerous postgraduate qualifications which include a Masters degree in Prosthodontics. He has been a LDC committee member since 2005.

Shruthi completed her graduation in Dentistry in 2000 from India. She achieved her Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) with Royal College of Surgeons, London in 2004. She has a comprehensive experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in addition to her general dentistry training. She decided to become a general Dental Practitioner in 2006. Shruthi is ambitious and always keeping up to date with the latest innovations in dentistry. Her creative talents not only shine in her dental work but she has a great interest in art. She enjoys travelling to experience different cultures and loves reading books.

Dr Moran graduated from the University of Liverpool and is currently completing her foundation training year with us here at Carillon. Charlotte’s aim is to make patients feel at ease, with a friendly but professional approach.
In her spare time, Charlotte likes to spend time with her friends and family and plays hockey for a local team.
Dental Hygienist Therapist

Genie began her dental career in 2005 as a dental nurse, working in both an orthodontic practice and general practices, where she gained her dental nursing qualification. She later enrolled on the dental hygiene and therapy course at the University of Sheffield, where she qualified in 2012.
She carries out all aspects of treatment within her remit but her special interests lie within tooth whitening and cosmetic fillings. Her belief is that patients care and satisfaction is paramount, her patient and reassuring nature enable her to treat nervous patients, adults and children with ease.

Dr Jethwa graduated with merit from Leeds Dental School. She then went on to complete her vocational training in Birmingham before spending a year as a junior doctor in Oral and Facial surgery at Pinderfields General Hospital. This post developed her surgical skills and ability to diagnose and manage more complex oral diseases and conditions. After moving back to the Midlands she has worked in general practice. Poonam focuses heavily on providing the highest patient care. She particularly likes to put anxious patients at ease. She has a keen interest in developing her skills in cosmetic dentistry in the future.
Patient Care Coordinator
Amelia is one of our patient care coordinators. This is Amelia’s first role within Dentistry, but she is thriving at the opportunity to learn to new skills and experiences. Prior to this, Amelia has five years experience in customer service, with many accolades to prove this.
Amelia has great interpersonal skills with a caring personality to coincide with this. Away from the practice, Amelia has a passion for interior design and takes great care of accessorising her home.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Daniella joined the practice in September 2017 and has been training to be a dental nurse since then. She has a degree in learning disabilities studies from Manchester University and has always had a keen interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.Outside of work, Daniella likes playing the guitar, piano and the violin. She also enjoys travelling and visiting her family in Australia.Daniella loves to provide the best patient care possible and aims to qualify as a dental nurse then pursue a special interest in dentistry at a later date.
Fay has worked as a dental nurse within the NHS since 2008 and went onto qualify with the National Dental Board for Dental Nurses in 2011. Having spent a number of years in various roles Fay wanted to further her knowledge and skills and enrolled onto a Dental Practice Management University course where she soon realised that she thrives upon daily patient contact and working in a customer care environment, where patient care is key.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Dr Raja qualified in Cardiff and completed his vocational training in a busy city center dental practice. His interest and focus has been more towards cosmetic dentistry and is a certified Invisalign and 6MonthSmiles provider which are the clear cosmetic braces systems.
Dr Raja is an active member of the BACD-British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and the ESAO-European Society of Aesthetic Orthodontics who regularly attends all lectures and conferences. He has recently completed a course and is now certified with the British Institute of Laser Dentistry.

Hemal graduated from the University of Birmingham and carried out his Vocational Training right here at Carillon. Hemal then undertook an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training post at the Royal Derby Hospital. Since then his interest has always been on surgical and restorative dentistry.
He has devoted lot of time developing his skills in dealing with more complex cases, ranging from cosmetic fillings to root canals and smile makeovers. Hemal is also training as an implant dentist and hopes to start a Master’s Degree in Restorative dentistry next year. He has the great privilege of being an Educational Supervisor to newly qualified Dentists and is involved in training the next generation of dentists.
Away from dentistry he has recently developed a love of landscape photography, any excuse to go travelling!
Senior Nurse & Oral Health Educator

Holly has worked at carillon dental care since 2010 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2012. Since then, Holly has continued her training and has qualifications in Oral Health Education, Fluoride application and Impression Taking.
Holly enjoys every aspect of dental nursing, but especially the surgical side, Implant nursing is one of her passions. As a senior member of staff, Holly has a great knowledge which allows her to train new members of staff, she finds it exciting to watch new members grow within the profession. Holly is very caring and enjoys making patients feel calm and relaxed.
Alongside dentistry, Holly has organised a charity skydive, bake sales (Sugar free!) and oral health education stalls within the community. Holly is an animal lover and an advocate of animal welfare. Being a vegetarian, she enjoys trying new vegetarian cuisine and educating others of benefits, mind, body and soul of being a vegetarian. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and family, as well as spending time with her two cats, Maude and Bunny.
Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica is one of our patient care coordinators. This is her first job within dentistry and is very keen to learn and progress within the practice.
She really enjoys getting to know patients and making them feel comfortable, which can help put people at ease. Her hobbies include taking care of her dog Archie, shopping and socialising.
Kirsty qualified as a dental nurse is 2015. She particularly enjoys reassuring nervous patients and putting them at ease when within the dental environment. Kirsty enjoys time outdoors, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends, especially her two nieces, Evie and Millie.
As a qualified dental nurse, Melissa has a good dental knowledge, which helps her within her role of treatment coordinator. Melissa loves creating relationships with patients and is there to answer any initial questions regarding our services and discussing individual treatment plans with patients.
Melissa takes a keen interest in all dental treatment, including cosmetic work. She loves being there with patients along their journey and seeing the end results! Outside of work, Melissa spends time with family and friends, she has two dogs, Cliff and Claude, who she loves taking on long walks. Melissa also enjoys eating out and going to live music concerts.
Dental Nurse & Oral Health Educator

Nadine studied at Leicester College and has been a qualified dental nurse since December 2013.
Since then Nadine has continued her training and has qualifications in Oral Health Education & fluoride application.
Nadine Enjoys caring for patients and ensuring that their visit is calm & enjoyable as possible.
Rebekah has been with Carillon since 2011, she is a qualified dental nurse and oral health educator. Rebekah has now been our assistant manager for 2 years and really enjoys challenging herself and learning new things to better her knowledge.
Outside of work, Rebekah spends time with her family, including her son Asher and two miniature pinchers.
Dental Hygienist Therapist

Sian has been working in dentistry since finishing her A levels. She started as a dental nurse and then gained various qualifications within dental nursing, then finally qualifying as a dental hygienist and therapist, from Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield, in 2012.
Sian enjoys all aspects of her role, but practically enjoys treating anxious patients and children.
Away from work Sian likes to enjoy as much time with her family; exploring the country or just staying local.
Steph started here as a patient care coordinator in 2015 and developed a serious interest into dentist. She was then given the opportunity to train as a dental nurse and she jumped at the chance! She is now a fully qualified dental nurse and is always looking to develop her skills and training further with relevant courses. Steph enjoys helping patients and making their journey as easy as possible. She also loves spending time with her pooch, Skylar and socialising with friends.
Since April 2015 Shirali has taken on a new role as the Public Relations Manager at CDC, this role is key to promoting Oral Health Awareness to our local community.
This is an extremely exciting project and a new challenge for both Shirali and the practice. We hope that this will educate our future generation and community about preventative oral health education.

We are delighted that Dr Mark Lester has joined our practice to principally manage the growing referrals for restorative, prosthodontic and implant treatment.
Mark graduated from Bristol University with a Batchelor in Dental Surgery in 2000, and spent the next couple of years working in the maxillofacial surgery department in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, developing his experience in surgical dentistry. After this, he undertook a post in restorative dentistry at Cardiff Dental Hospital, where he gained experience in treating a wide range of complex dental cases. It was during this that Mark knew he had a passion for prosthodontics (the area of dentistry that involves the cosmetic restoration and replacement of teeth), and decided that he wanted to become a specialist in this area.
In 2005, Mark was accepted onto the prosthodontic postgraduate programme at Manchester University, at the end of which he was awarded a Master’s degree. In 2007, he gained a place on the Prosthodontics Specialist Training programme in Manchester and in 2011 he was awarded his Membership of Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons. This has enabled Mark to be entered onto the General Dental Council’s Prosthodontic specialist list in the UK.
